The 3rd Annual OTIS-Sandberg Institute Exchange Fellowship:
March to May, 2010, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The Sandberg Institute is a post-graduate program in Amsterdam with an 'outward-oriented' mission of engaging the public with the contemporary fine arts. In this exchange fellowship for recent graduates of the OTIS MFA program, the Sandberg Institute selects and hosts artists whose projects will capture a viewer's participation and will explicitly encourage dialogue between artists and public. KunstVlaai 2010:
May 15 to 23, 2010, Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek, Pazzanistraat 41, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Founded by the Sandberg Institute in 1997 as an alternative art fair, the KunstVlaai (or, Art Pie) focuses primarily on experimental presentations from international artists and art spaces. Since their attendance of 12,000 people in 2000, the KunstVlaai’s popularity has grown exponentially. In 2010 the fair will host 400 international artists, 15 international MFA programs, and 75 independent art spaces. Kunstvlaai / Artpie
